The “HOVORY” Marathon for High School Students

To participate, students should record a short video or story by October 30th on one of the following topics:

• “Speaking up is power”

• “My personal boundaries are my right”

• “My body is my private space”

• “Don’t stay silent — speak up”

• “There is no place for bullying here”

“I have the right to be safe online”

We invite 9th-, 10th- and 11th-grade students to join the nationwide “HOVORY” marathon dedicated to personal safety, self-respect, and the ability to speak about what truly matters.

Participants can record videos individually or with classmates, tag @hovory_ua on Instagram, and add the hashtags #ГОВОРИ #БезпечнаШкола and #ГоворитиЦеСила on TikTok.

We want teenagers to understand that safety does not begin with rules, but with awareness of their own value. Speaking up is not about weakness — it is about courage: the courage to protect yourself, to support others, and not to stay silent when something is not OK. A culture of respect, trust, and mutual support at school begins with honest conversations like these,” says Nataliia Tarnovska, Head of Education Programs at the Child Dignity Center UCU and Manager of the “HOVORY” project.

The best videos will become part of the nationwide online course for high school students “Your Personal Safety”, and their authors will receive gifts.

Don’t stay silent — HOVORY!
