HOVORY's Experience Presented at the LET Program

During the lecture, Khrystyna Shabat, head of UCU's Centre for Child Dignity, shared how the HOVORY project was created: how the team searched for a format that would help children feel safe speaking up and help adults understand how to respond. She combined practical experience with a broader vision of education's role as a tool for change within a community.

Education at the city level isn't just about schools and universities — it's about shared responsibility for the quality of community life. This was the focus of a lecture within the "Leadership for Educational Transformation" (LET) program, which used HOVORY as a case study for how universities can partner with communities to drive change.

LET is a training program aimed at educators, administrators, and researchers working on changes in Ukrainian education amid the war and reconstruction. It's run in partnership between the Ukrainian Leadership Academy, the University of Warwick, and the Ukrainian Catholic University.
